Our HS Soccer will be playing in Stover at 7pm, and our JH Soccer will be in Marshall at 5pm.
Smithton’s Got Talent- Saturday October 29th at 6pm. Audition sign up sheets are in the elementary and high school office, please turn in to Ms. Richey or Mrs. Greene by Tuesday October 11th. There will be a costume contest again this year, sign up is the night of the show.
The marching band, drumline, and color guard attended Central Methodist Band Day. The kids did a great job. Both the band and drumline performed well but didn't earn a trophy. The color guard earned 1st place again this week. There were 7 guards in their class.

The AFS Volleyball Tournament is coming up in November. The AFS Tournament helps bring exchange students to Smithton. It also helps Smithton students to travel abroad. As of this year, Smithton has hosted 49 students from 24 different countries. 21 Smithton students have been exchange students in 18 different countries. Help support these great opportunities!
Our varsity girls put up a good fight and had some great plays but lost to Tipton tonight.

Congratulations to Rylan Armenta for receiving the “Excellence in Action” award for his contributions to the district! The award was presented to Rylan by Mr. Bray at the September school board meeting.
