In celebration of National Thank a Farmer Day, Smithton FFA wants to extend an invitation to our hardworking Farmers & Farm Families to stop by for a grab and go meal from 8:30 AM- 1:00 PM. We will have a tent set up around the JBS Mill. We want to thank our local Sponsors JBS and Central Bank for making this event possible!

Varsity soccer got a win on the road in Kansas City tonight over Kauffman University Academy. Great job Tigers!




A huge thank you to Central Bank and BTC Bank for their generous donations, which have helped establish a Dual Credit Textbook Library at Smithton High School! Now, students taking dual credit classes, where textbooks aren't included, can access the materials they need—removing a potential financial barrier and ensuring every student has the resources to succeed in their post-secondary education journey.


If you haven't signed up for an audition time but want to be part of Smithton's Got Talent (3rd-12th grade), please come to auditions Monday, October 7th from 3:15-5:30. Please bring your permission slip. If you are not able to make auditions, please contact Mrs. Bird or Mr. DeWitt by Wednesday, October 9th.

Don't forget that Smithton's Got Talent Auditions for grades 3-12 are on Monday, October 7th after school from 3:15-5:30. Please turn in your audition forms by this Friday to Mrs. Bird so contact can be made for a specific audition time. Smithton's Got Talent is on October 26th, meal starts at 5:30 with show starting at 6.

A meeting with Private/Parochial School Administrators in the Smithton R-VI School District will be held on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the office of the Smithton Director of Special Services, Smithton R-VI School District, 505 South Myrtle, Smithton, MO 65350. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the district’s responsibility to provide special education and related services and the method(s) of provision to students with disabilities attending private/parochial schools within the district’s jurisdiction. This meeting will also provide you the opportunity to express your views regarding special education services.
