First day scavenger hunt!
SHS students, I hope you are excited about the first day back! We have missed you the last 87 days. If you have picked up your schedule already, bring the copy with you tomorrow. If you need another copy or just want to see your locker #, log into SIS anytime to check it out.
CTC students your experience starts tomorrow. If you are unable to drive yourself, there will be a bus that leaves Smithton at the regular time of 11:15. Congratulations again on your acceptance to your program! #R6Pride
The Fall Sports Parents meeting for Junior High and High School will be held at 5:00 pm today in the Elementary gym. This is during our open house. Please stop by if you are around. A good chance to meet your coaches and get any new information about this year. GO TIGERS!
Don't forget to stop by the library during open house tomorrow night for a Freshman specific message about starting High School. The 10 min. presentation will be at 5:30 and repeated at 6:30. Learn about credits, the A+ scholarship program and the importance of attendance.
Smithton Junior High Soccer and Cross Country will begin on Monday 8-19-19. JH soccer will practice 3-4:30 pm. JH XC will practice 7:30-9:00 am. JH Volleyball will start Wednesday 8-21-19 from 3-5 pm. All athletes need a physical to participate. GO TIGERS!
ATTENTION JUNIOR HIGH PARENTS: for your child to practice make sure they have the new MSHSAA annual requirement paperwork filled out. This is NOT the physical form. Copies of forms can be found in HS office or on www.mshsaa.org under the 'sports medicine' tab. GO TIGERS
