Summer School for remediation will be offered this summer for the core
areas of English, History, Math, and Science. There will be a minimum number of
students needed before the particular class will take place. You are able to
earn ½ credit toward graduation. Students must have a
semester grade of 45% or higher to be eligible. The dates for summer school are
May 24th – June 7th. Each core class will be ALL DAY.
Please stop by Mr. Rehmer’s office to sign up for
summer school by the end of the day on Thursday, May 16th.
The Electronic device policy includes
I-pods or MP3 players and should be followed to the extent that students should
not be listening to music in class or the hallway. The exceptions are:
1. During
lunch time
2. If the student asks and the teacher allows it for that
one class period only
At no time when students are listening to
music should they have BOTH ear buds in; only one ear at a time so they can
remain conscientious of their environment.
As
warmer weather approaches and days get longer, clothes have a tendency to get
shorter and more inappropriate. Please remember the acceptable minimum length of shorts and skirts is “mid-thigh”
NOT fingertip, cut-off shirts, shirt sleeves with gaping arm holes and
spaghetti straps are considered NOT appropriate for school and you will be
asked to change. If
you have any questions about what is acceptable, please review your handbook or
see Mrs. Goss.
